How can one contact ANDELE?

Where does ANDELE offer services?
Tutoring is conducted at the most convenient and appropriate tutoring location for your child/children. Sessions can be arranged at a public library, or community center. Sessions may also be conducted in the comfort and security of your home with an adult present.

When does ANDELE offer services?
Services are offered immediately after school, in the evenings, or on weekends, depending on mutually convenient times for student, parent and tutor.

How are students selected for a tutoring cluster?
Tutors are matched with students to form small clusters of three students with similar academic needs. Alternatively, students may be tutored individually in the convenience of the student's home, with an adult present.

What is ANDELE's track record in raising student skills and grades?
ANDELE’s administrators have received the highest evaluation in statewide surveys and assessments. ANDELE tutors are monitored to assure quality of instruction for your child.

What are the qualifications of ANDELE's tutors?
ANDELE’s tutors are mostly bilingual in English and Spanish. Tutors have passed rigorous background checks, and are screened tested, certified and trained by ANDELE to achieve results in specific academic areas. All tutors have completed a college degree or more.

Which subject areas does ANDELE tutor?
English - Language Arts - Reading - Mathematics - Science

Can tutors speak languages other than English?
Yes. A majority of ANDELE's tutors are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Can ANDELE meet the learning needs of students with disabilities?
Currently, ANDELE's staff is not experienced in providing instruction for students with disabilities.

Does ANDELE measure student needs?
Yes. Before students and tutors start their sessions, ANDELE administers a free assessment of your child's skills and needs. Once academic needs are determined an individual student improvement plan is prepared to guide the tutor and child. A similar assessment is made at the ending of the tutoring cycle.

How will ANDELE keep me informed for my child's progress?
Written monthly reports will be provided to parents. Reports will be written in English or Spanish.
